5 Ways to Pamper Your Mum This Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day fast approaching on the 31st March, it’s time to start thinking about how you’d like to show your love and appreciation. What should you do? What gift should you buy? What does she love?

There are numerous ways you can pamper your mum this Mother’s Day, let Hotels Available inspire you to do something different this year.

Afternoon Tea
Treat your mum to an afternoon tea where you both can enjoy a selection of sandwiches, homemade cakes, scones, tea or coffee and even a glass of Prosecco if you wish. This is the perfect way to spend quality time with each other whilst enjoying delectable delights.

Spa Day
This is the perfect way to relax and unwind. Arrange a spa treatment or just enjoy the spa facilities available at a venue of your choice. Spa treatments range from facials to manicures or pedicures and depending on what spa facilities are available, go swimming, utilise gym and fitness facilities or just relax in the sauna.

Lunch for Two
Book breakfast, lunch or dinner at your mum’s favourite restaurant or why not try somewhere new? Keep a look out for Mother’s Day menus. Numerous hotels and restaurants will be releasing (if not already) menus specifically for this day, so keep a lookout and make a reservation.

Weekend Break
Why not arrange a weekend getaway for your mum? She may have a favourite place to visit or want to visit somewhere new. Find a holiday package to suit your budget and secure a booking today! This truly is a unique gift idea, one where she will be able to get away from it all and truly take a break.

Gift Voucher
Purchase a gift voucher for your mum. By doing this, you're giving your mum flexibility on when to book something that’s convenient for her. Gift ideas can include what we’ve suggested above, afternoon tea, spa day, lunch for two and even a weekend break away.

West Loch Hotel, Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll

West Loch Hotel, Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll

West Loch Hotel was once a coaching inn and has been carefully restored and renovated to provide comfortable, relaxing and modern hotel accommodation. It is located a 5-minute  drive from Tarbet, with wonderful views over Loch Fyne.

All rooms include a TV and Wi-Fi.

We are proud to offer both good quality dining and excellent service to all of our guests, whether you are residents or simply joining us for a meal in our restaurant. With an abundance of world famous local ingredients at our disposal, including Scottish smoked salmon, seafood, venison and game birds, our chef creates superb meals.

Set at the top of the spectacular Kintyre Peninsula, West Loch Hotel overlooks the sea loch from which it takes its name. The hotel offers the perfect base from which to explore Kintyre itself, the islands of Arran, Islay, Gigha, and Jura and miles of stunning coastline in this beautiful part of Scotland.

The road to Kintyre offers plenty of interest. Crinan, Canal, used by the 19th-century Loch Fyne herring fleet, is now almost exclusively recreational. It marks the boundary of Knapdale, with gentle scenery, mediaeval stone carvings and Castle Sween. Beyond Tarbert, the road down the peninsula to Campbeltown boasts views west to Islay, Gigha and Jura.

The Regent, St Ives, Cornwall

http://www.hotelsavailable.co.uk/.

The Regent, St Ives, Cornwall

The Regent, run by Keith and Sandi Varnals in Cornwall, is a small, comfortable hotel in the centre of town. Spectacular views of St Ives Bay and its harbour can be enjoyed from the hotel. The Regent is in the centre of St. Ives, close to bus, coach and rail stations. If you wish we can arrange for coach trips or a chauffeured motor car. We can also arrange a self-drive car hire from a reputable local firm.

Our rooms are comfortable with excellent, modern facilities. Most rooms at The Regent have stunning views over St Ives bay and harbour. Keith and Sandi Varnals tastefully modernised The Regent, ensuring that all rooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard.

The Regent Hotel (a former sea captains house) was converted to a hotel in 1926 by the well-known local Architect Frank Nicholls. Since its conversion, it has been running continuously as a hotel ever since. During the war, the hotel was first of all the coordinating centre for the coastal gunnery around the Western Approaches.

Later to be taken over by the American General Omar Bradley for his G.H.Q and over the door, the sign read ‘134th U.S. Infantry’. A largely curved signboard over the main entrance door proclaimed "All Hell Can’t Stop Us". After the war, the hotel continued as a small family run hotel and ever since that time visitors have been enthralled by the views from most of the rooms in the building.
