The Old Rectory is a luxurious bed and breakfast in St Juliot, Cornwall. Our B&B is surrounded by 3 acres of beautiful gardens which guests are welcome to explore. The Old Rectory is in a quiet and romantic setting just a short drive from Boscastle and ideally located for exploring Cornwall.
This Victorian residence has been thoughtfully decorated and restored over the years, to retain as much of its original charm and character as possible. We have carefully preserved the Victorian features that make this house so special, including the sash windows, fireplaces, picture rails and elegant staircase. We have also replaced the dilapidated Veranda and conservatory that were part of the original building.
Guests have a choice of 4 rooms, all of which have a comfortable and homely feel.
Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served in the main house, in the dining room. We serve fruit and vegetables from the garden for breakfasts and evening meals throughout the year and our free-range hens produce the freshest eggs. After breakfast, why not retire to the beautiful south facing garden. Here you can enjoy panoramic views from our wooden deck over the Valency Valley, whilst planning the activities for the day ahead.
St Juliot is a fantastic base for those who are looking to explore North Cornwall. Surfers can reach several beaches within comfortable driving distance, including Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, Trebarwith & Polzeath. Walkers have a choice of several circular walks that are available from The Old Rectory, with the surrounding area being home to some of the highest cliffs in the county. You can often see seals swimming or lying on the rocks sunning themselves.
