This magnificent property dates from 1750 and sits in an acre of grounds. There are 5 elegant rooms available which provide a truly lavish experience. Four of the rooms have en suite facilities and one has a private bathroom. All the room enjoys glorious views over the farmland and rolling countryside. Each room comes with a variety of superb facilities.

The cosy snug comes with a toasty wood burner and seating area, a lovely place to relax after a day exploring the local area. Playing cards, board games or puzzles and a selection of books are available to borrow. You are welcome to take breakfast or an afternoon tea in our recently restored conservatory. A perfect spot to enjoy a piece of lemon drizzle, made using homegrown lemons.

Brightlycott Cottage offers B&B accommodation in a beautiful part of Devon. We have established ourselves as a notable place to stay within Barnstaple and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service. The centre of Barnstaple is a short drive away, where you will find a variety of places to eat, drink and shop.

The B&B rooms are part of our family home, which is on our small holding. We want guests to feel at home for the duration of their stay and are happy to help with any questions you may have about the local area. We are always on hand to assist, ensuring your comfort and satisfaction with the facilities.

We have one suite available, perfect for couples, friends and families. The suite has a double bedroom and a single bedroom with en suite facilities.

We have no time restraints, you can come and go as you please, have breakfast to suit you, sit in the kitchen and chat or enjoy wandering in the fields surrounding our home.

On those days when you are exploring the local area, you will find that there are many activities and attractions on offer in North Devon. From vast beaches and surfing to Exmoor, boat trip to Lundy or visiting one of the lovely old properties or perhaps the cliff railway in Lynmouth, there are endless choices.
