Portsonachan Hotel is a 19th-century hotel located on the south shores of Loch Awe in Argyll. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with fantastic views over the loch.

You can choose from hotel accommodation or stay in one of the self catering lodges.

The hotel offers continental breakfast accommodation in three buildings as well as a selection of lodges all based in the grounds.

Staying in the main hotel the en suite rooms all have wonderful views of the loch and each have their own tea & coffee making facilities. There are four types of room available, standard double or twin, loch view double, standard family and loch view family.

The Coach House offers one bedroom B&B rooms or you can opt for one or two bedroom self catering apartments.

The traditional 1, 2 and 3 bedroom log cabins are set just above Loch Awe and can accommodate up to 6 people.

The restaurant, The Cruachan offers the very best in local and seasonal produce and whilst dining you can enjoy views over the loch.

There is plenty to see and do in the area for all ages, including:

Coarse Fishing.
Bird Watching.
Loch Awe Castle.
