Bridge View B&B is situated at 8 John Quay in the heart of Kilkenny City, County Kilkenny. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet cul de sac & offers a warm and friendly place to stay.
The guest rooms are homely and provide a comfortable place to stay when exploring Kilkenny. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, en suite bathrooms & Wi-Fi access.
Each morning a full Irish breakfast is offered with, bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, black & white pudding and freshly ground coffee and tea.
The B&B is in the shadow of Kilkenny Castle and overlooks the River Nore. This superb castle is located on elevated ground beside the river at the south eastern end of the city. The castle was built in the thirteenth century on the site of an earlier fort. However, the present building is vastly different from the stronghold erected by Strongbow in the middle ages. Despite this, the present structure retains the architectural lines of a medieval castle. The building forms three sides of a quadrangle, with three of the four original round towers intact.
