Arreton Manor, Arreton, Newport, Isle of Wight

Arreton Manor offers luxurious accommodation in a historic property brimming with a rich history. It was originally recorded in 872 AD in Alfred The Great's will and eight British monarchs were known to have owned it, including William The Conqueror, Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. It truly is an unusual place to stay.

Due to huge popularity, this private home now offers a range of individual bedrooms to choose from in the main house and a separate suite which boasts its own entrance. Each room is stylishly designed and offers a comfortable and relaxing stay. All the rooms come with a king-size bed.

We also have absolutely stunning yurts available, featuring four-poster beds and copper baths in front of picture windows – please see website for details.

Savour our delicious breakfast in the 430-year-old oak-panelled Court Room, maybe followed by a wander through our handsome grounds, 7 ornamental gardens including the beautiful front lawn where Queen Victoria planted a conifer tree during one of her visits.

As well as having two excellent pubs in front of the manor, there are lots of superb attractions are in the local area, such as Carisbrooke Castl, Brading Roman Villa, Compton Beach, Monkey Haven & the Museum of Island History.
